Inspired by our setting on the coast of Maine, our lines of casual and elegant jewelry provide the wearer with a sense of the spirit of Maine – - simple organic forms with textures and finishes inspired by nature.
Our individually shaped and textured forms embrace the style and aesthetic qualities that endure. The labor intensive methods of hand forming allow for the evolution of design that makes each item unique, a treasure to own and a delight to wear — a sense of joy in harmony with the coast and woodlands of Maine.
Finishes used on our copper and sterling silver jewelry include oxidation to achieve the arrays of blue-green, red-blue and iridescent colors that accentuate the texture of our signature creations.
Southport Silver’s elegant line of Kum Boo earrings and pendants utilizes a traditional Korean technique to layer and permanently bond 24-karat gold onto finished pieces crafted of fine silver.
